Never try to have more faith.....
In reading the book If You Want to Walk on Water You've Got to Get Out of the Boat at the end of chapter 4 one of the questions read "Never try to have more faith. Instead, just get to know God better." It then went on to ask "How would you describe your faith these days? What might help you get to know God better?"

I'm convinced I have hardly no faith at all. I've tried, but I can't seem to generate it by myself. Frustrated, after I run out of my own strength, I'm always forced to look to God, because He's the source of all things. But that's good, because I think God wants us to depend on Him.
I think the best way to know God is to read his Word and pray, and follow His Word even if we fail.
